Cellophony is the vibrant, sonorous and exhilarating sound of an octet of young professional cellists. Their debut CD will include tracks by JS Bach, founder Richard Birchall, Music chamber composer Ian Stewart, Gordon Jacob and Sollima.
'best of british' mayfest
This year our annual concert series ‘MayFest’ will be themed around the “Best of British” to mark the Queen’s Jubilee. It runs from 14th to 27th May and we will have special lunchtime recitals at St John’s and St Peter’s featuring our favourite and most entertaining artists: Watterton / Cashell, Nonesuch orchestra, Prima Volta and Cubano Trio.
