The Choir and the Youth Orchestra “Collegium Musicum La Rioja” from Spain, was formed in 2006 when the University of La Rioja started a project to invite students to take part in a musical project. Soon students and teachers from the University, Conservatoire and from the different Music Schools of the county, Logroño, Calahorra and Haro, were part of this innovative didactic program. Now, the orchestra has more than 50 players and their philosophy is to work in co-operation to develop their artistic, musical and creative activities to promote values like team work, solidarity and individual hard work.
